Jodi began her career in the corporate world over thirty years ago. From the obscure “mom and pop” to the Fortune 500 companies, Jodi has held a variety of different responsibilities and has seen more opportunities for process improvement than she cares to count. Through her desire to become an expert in all things Microsoft, combined with her unique ability to see improvement opportunities all around, she quickly became the “go to” person when problems needed to be solved.
In 2010, Jodi started her own business managing professional trade associations. She puts her skills to use guiding and directing Boards of non-profits to improve the way they deliver value to members. In this environment, she finds opportunities for processes improvement daily!
In addition to her hands-on non-profit clients, Jodi has packaged her experience for businesses looking to grow their employees and empower them to make improvements. She can present luncheons, keynotes, or detailed workshops to meet the specific needs of corporate and non-profit organizations:
Un-Break It!: This is Jodi’s passion – identifying broken processes and moving confidently forward to make them better! She educates and coaches employees and volunteers to identify the pain points in their environment, and leads them in the simple steps to identifying the best way to make meaningful and practical improvements that stick. She loves to see the lightbulbs go on when people realize they really can make improvements in their own world.
Market-Mission-Value: Jodi believes these concepts are not just for the big boys, and far too many small businesses or internal departments lack this simple direction. One recent attendee reported that having been through many unproductive “mission” endeavors at a number of companies, she found Jodi’s approach to be the easiest and quickest way to bring cohesive direction.
For her volunteer-based clients, Jodi offers a number of seminars including:
- Board Bootcamp: You Raised Your Hand and Said “Yes!” Now What?;
- It’s More Than Butts in Seats: Understanding the Volunteer Dilemma
- Strategic Planning: It’s Not a “One and Done” Effort;
- Policy Paralysis; Creating Policies that Don’t Hold You Hostage
Jodi’s 20 years of experience performing on stage, and her anecdotal style, enables her to communicate with ease, humor, and relatable stories, allowing groups of any size to walk away with practical ideas delivered in an entertaining way.
