HOW YOU THRIVE IS UP TO YOU
We all get stuck, whether in our personal or professional lives. Lois inspire and encourage audiences to use tools that are available to them right now to move forward and create change that will bring more joy and more success for years to come. How you define yourself is closely connected to what you believe about the things you can and cannot change.
Together you’ll explore what you can change:
- Beliefs
- Core values
- Attitudes
- Knowledge
And together you’ll explore what you cannot change:
- Your partner
- Your co-workers
- The weather
- Pretty much anything outside of you
When you focus on the things you can change, instead of beating yourself up for what you cannot, you will free up space to thrive. Being a storyteller for most of her life as a reporter and anchor on radio and television stations in Denver, San Francisco and Houston allows Lois to write at Thrive Global, coach at Colorado Homeless Families, and work for social change at Alternative Road Map.
If your workplace or event wants inspiration to thrive, she’d love to join you with a keynote presentation or a workshop. She’s been stuck so often there were moments she wasn’t sure she’d be able to move again. But step by step she’s learned that no one person or thing has the power to defeat me. She’s living proof that each of us has something in ourselves that is greater than all those things out there which we falsely believe can stop us. You have the power right now to move ahead with the next chapter of your life!
Born in India to an Armenian father and Danish mother, Lois published her first non-fiction book, Hybrid: The transformation of a cross-cultural people pleaser, which explores growing up as a third culture kid and the identity issues that influenced every decision in her life.
