MASTER CERTIFIED EXECUTIVE COACH, ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST, RESEARCHER, AND CEO OF CONNECTED EC
Jamie brings a rare blend of science, strategy, and lived leadership experience to her work with CEOs and executive teams navigating growth, complexity, and cultural transformation.
With a PhD in Positive Organizational Psychology, an MBA, and a Master of Science in Information Technology, Jamie bridges rigorous research with real-world execution. Since 1998, she has developed high-performing teams—first as a corporate executive inside large-scale organizations and now as a trusted external advisor to senior leaders across industries.
After experiencing executive burnout herself, Jamie became committed to reshaping how leaders lead—so they can drive exceptional performance without sacrificing their vitality. Her work integrates well-being science, positive psychology, and systems-level leadership to help organizations build cultures where people can burn bright and go the distance without burning out.
She is the bestselling author of Brilliant: Be the Leader Who Shines Brightly Without Burning Out and the forthcoming book Connected Culture: The New Science for Thriving Teams and Cultures, which uncovers what it truly takes to build high-performing teams where well-being and performance coexist. She is also the founder of the Leader and Organization Vitality (LOV) Center, a research institute that advances the science of leadership vitality, culture, and performance and bridges the gap between research and real-world practice.
APPROACH + PHILOSOPHY
Jamie believes sustainable high performance is the result of deliberate leadership design, not personal sacrifice. Her work sits at the intersection of leadership science, vitality research, and executive performance, helping leaders understand that how they show up, physically, emotionally, cognitively, and relationally, directly shapes the culture they create and the results they drive. While most executive coaching focuses on strategy and skills, Jamie goes deeper. She integrates mindset, energy, clarity, and behavior to help leaders expand their capacity, regulate under pressure, and sustain high performance over time. Because leadership isn’t just cognitive — it’s physiological, relational, and systemic. She founded Connected EC on a bold belief: thriving cultures are not built by exhausted leaders. Organizations don’t need tougher executives; they need regulated, clear, connected ones. Her work helps leaders create environments where excellence and vitality rise together, where teams perform at a high level without paying a burnout tax.
