Recognized as a smart comedian, this former ski bum operates from a secluded cabin at 8,524 feet in the Colorado Rockies – a perfect perch, or so he claims, for comedic perspective.
A regular on the club and corporate comedy circuit, his clean and clever comedy act provides a unique, first-hand perspective on outdoor life touching on skiing, camping, wildlife, mountain climbing and more, making him perfect for any function or event in search of of an outdoor/Colorado-lifestyle angle.

In addition to his regular act, he also performs a specialized Green Comedy Show, prompting the Mother Nature Network to name him as one of the nation’s Top Environmental Comedians. The show, which incorporates a Powerpoint presentation, humorously stresses the merits of incorporating the outdoors into our lives through outdoor recreation which in turn heightens awareness to the importance of protecting open spaces.
His humor articles have appeared in more than 40 publications, including Cabin Life Magazine, ESPN’s Active.com, and the prestigious Explorer Club’s Explorers Journal.
When not working or writing about himself in the third person, Jeff spends his time sitting on his cabin’s front deck in tattered shorts and a thick Patagonia fleece jacket brooding about nothing in particular.
Jeff also delivers keynotes on the topic “Seize the day, not the phone.” Part-motivational, part-informative – but always funny – this multi-media presentation, with aid of his backcountry photos, encourages audience members to unplug from their screens, get outside, and pursue exclamation point moments.
