Joan Lunden was the co-host of ABC’s Good Morning America from 1980 to 1997, and has authored eight books. She has appeared on the Biography program and Biography Channel.
A year after her diagnosis and nine months of treatment, Joan announced that she is cancer free. With her announcement, she also debuted ALIVE, her own online channel dedicated to the world of breast cancer and finding a cure – the subscription-based video on demand channel has daily unique content and will feature educational content, interviews with experts, inspirational content, Joan on the road, celebrity interviews, and more. She has partnered with TAPP Media which was started by two TV Network heavyweights, Jeff Gaspin and John Klein.
Her book, Had I Known, published by Harper Collins, was recently released. This is the first of 2 new books they have committed to.
