Arguably the greatest swimmer of all time and perhaps the greatest Olympian, Mark’s 7 gold medal records stood for 3 decades before Michael Phelps broke the record. He has celebrated his 32th anniversary for winning his gold medals in the 1972 Munich Olympics. Mark has entered into a deal with Grupo TV, Brazil’s largest TV network, for him to be the on-air commentator for the Olympic swimming competitions this summer.
Spitz had earned $6 million through endorsements and other deals by 1974. He eventually settled into life in Los Angeles and started a successful real estate company in Beverly Hills.
Today Mark is a popular motivational speaker and is an astute businessman having started and sold various new startups.
Mark lives in Westwood, California with his long time wife Suzy and is still in demand for appearances in Asia, Europe, South America and the Middle East. For those interested in the glow of the Olympics and looking to connect with an iconic figure, Mark is your guy.
