Mike Thompson is a motivational and inspirational speaker under the company name of Marching to Greatness. He was born in Houston, Texas and still calls it home. However, he has lived in Colorado area since the age of 11. In college he majored in Music and minored in Business and Accounting.

He is CEO/Founder of The Father's Show Resource Program (TFSRP), launched in November 2004 — a web-based organization to help men be better fathers, husbands, and men overall.

He conducts a K-12th grade school program called the Choice Program, where he mentors and motivates young men to make better choices as they go through life. In 2010 he was presented with the Montbello High School Annual Community of Champions Award for this program.

He has had articles written about him and The Father's Show Resource Program in The Body of Christ, Denver Post, Denver Weekly, and the Urban Spectrum. He is a Co-Author in Lift As You Climb, available at Amazon, Tattered Cover, Barnes & Noble, and Borders.

He is a member of Absolutely Articulate Toastmasters Club since September 2011 and won first place honors in the Toastmasters International best speaker contest by the Absolutely Articulate Club. He is an actor, model, singer, author, mentor, activist, and a father and a grandfather.
