There is nothing like a new year to feel refreshed again. Enough of the overstuffed feeling of too many parties, too much food, too many cocktails, too much everything! The new year offers a fresh start to put away the old ways and embrace healthier choices.
Three of Denver Speakers Bureau presenters are going to start the year off with a bang with their take on “Make 2014 Your Year to Shine!” From 3-5 pm on Saturday, January 18, the Parker Library will be stage for a triple header of exciting talent. Doors open at 2:45 for a prompt 3:00 start time.
3pm – Deborah Jane Wells– “Declare Your Independence from Stress” Through Deborah’s writing, speaking, radio show, and signature coaching programs, she helps individuals and organizations harness the transformative power of love to step into their greatness. Deborah is the author of Choose Your Energy: Change Your Life!
3:40- Chris Natzke– “Creating a Powerful 2014“– Seventh Degree Black Belt/Master Instructor Chris Natzke, uses martial arts as a metaphor for life. He demonstrates how following certain principles, a person can positively impact the lives of others and set one free to experience the success and happiness they deserve. Chris is author of Black Belt Leadership: Creating a Life of Purpose by Discovering your Inner Champion.
4:15- Maisha I– “Using Vulnerability to Connectivity“– Whether you are feeling smothered by limiting beliefs or paralyzed by indecision, Maisha offers a process that is designed to bring clarity. It is profound, yet surprisingly simple. Maisha is the author of Journey to I, Defiant, Defamed, Disgraced…My Unexpected Path to Success.
The Bureau’s Executive Director and Speaker Karen Loucks Rinedollar will be master of ceremonies for the event. Attendees are welcome to come for one speaker but are encouraged to stay for all. Make 2014 Your Year to Shine is open to the public and well behaved children are welcome, The Speaker/Authors will have their books available for purchase and signing.
The Denver Speakers Bureau offers their Speaker Showcase on a monthly basis at no charge to the public. It is their way to give back to the community through inspiration, education and entertainment. Prior events included “Parenting”, “Gratitude” and “A Salute to the Local Author.” February’s subject will be “Speaking from the Heart” and will be held at the Highlands Ranch Library on February 22 tentatively scheduled from 12-3 pm.
